Nació en la ciudad de Mar del Plata, Argentina el 23 de agosto de 1972. 

FORMACION:

En Buenos Aires se recibió en el Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte. Estudió Pintura con los maestros miguel Ángel Vidal, Pablo Suárez, y Mariano Sapia. Clínica de obra con Tulio de Sagastizabal y dibujo con Ernesto Pesce. Realizó una especialización en Arteterapia con el Lic. Marcelo Mañasco en el instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte. E. de la Cárcova. 

DISTINCIONES:

2020/21: Mención especial en Salón Nacional de Artes Visuales. 2016‐ Primer premio adquisición Salón Banco Nación Argentina. 2016‐ Mención especial Premio Banco Ciudad. Bs. As. 2014‐ Beca para proyectos grupales .Fondo Nacional de las Artes. 2014 –Tercer premio adquisición. Salón Nacional del Bicentenario. Museo de Artes Visuales de Concordia. Entre Ríos. 1997‐Primer premio Adquisición, Salón escuela Panamericana de Arte. Buenos Aires.La obra de Florencia Fraschina ha sido exhibida en los siguientes museos : Warehouse Miwaukee, EE. UU (compartiendo  exposición : The secret garden, con artistas de distintas partes del mundo, en la que participaron David Hockney, William Kentridge, Alex Kat y Pablo Picaso, entre otros. MOC de La Rioja, Bellas Artes de Concordia, Arte contemporáneo Caravatti de Catamarca, Timoteo Navarro de Tucumán, Genaro Pérez de Córdoba, Palacio Ferreira de Córdoba, Sívori de CABA, Sindicatura de Gobierno en CABA, Museo Banco Provincia en CABA, Casa Victoria Ocampo en CABA, Universidad e New York, Consulado Argentino de New York como también en Galerías y espacios de arte. Entre las muestras individuales se destacan: Medula, Rosa Mística, Conjuros y mitología personal, también participó en salones nacionales, Internacionales y municipales. Sus obras forman parte de colecciones institucionales como Sindicatura de Gobierno de la Nación, Banco Provincia, Banco Ciudad, Museo Octavio de la colina, Museo municipal de Córdoba Genaro Pérez, Museo de arte contemporáneo de Catamarca Caravatti, Museo de Artes Visuales de Concordia, Hall central del hospital de Clínicas de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, Museo Haggerty de la universidad de Marquette Milwaukee y Museo Warehouse de EE.UU; como también en colecciones privadas en Argentina, Estados Unidos, España y Francia.

Actividad en su medio:

Funda Artistas en Cooperativa (cooperativa de artistas visuales mujeres) junto a Balbina Lightowler, Noelia Farías , Marisa Domínguez y Paula Otegui. 2015 Conduce y produce desde artistas en cooperativa (El verso del arte) Programa de radio dedicado a la difusión de artistas visuales argentinos por AM 770 Radio cooperativa. 2015/17/18 , representando a Artistas en cooperativa, Su proyecto Taller móvil en el Hospital de Clínicas de la ciudad de Buenos Aires es declarado de interés cultural por el Ministerio de cultura (Mecenazgo cultural) 2016 Fue becada por Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación para participar de los cursos para emprendedores en industrias culturales en la universidad de Tandil. 2015 Abre Espacio Craig Laboratorio de arte donde coordina y es docente. 2018- Es docente del taller de dibujo y pintura en el museo Luis Perlotti. 2019 Realizó una residencia en Alto Jagüé, La Rioja para investigar las técnicas de construcción en adobe con fines escultóricos. 2019 Es convocada por la secretaría de cultura de La Rioja para dar conferencias en el marco del MIC (mercado de industrias culturales). 2020/21 formó parte del jurado del salón Nacional del Bicentenario, dictó workshops online desde Canal (á) canal de televisión Argentino dedicado a difundir la actividad artística a nivel Nacional, es contratada por la plataforma Española Domestika.org para dictar cursos de pintura en 72 países. Actualmente: Florencia tiene su estudio y vive con su familia en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. En paralelo junto a su compañero Pablo Nievas, se desempeña como maestra y bailarina de Tango Argentino, realizando giras internacionales y en Frenesí Porteño, su espacio de arte en Buenos Aires.

Florencia Fraschina’s work has been exhibited in the following museums: Warehouse Miwaukee, E.E. U.U. MOC from La Rioja, Fine Arts from Concordia, Caravatti contemporary art from Catamarca , Timoteo Navarro from Tucumán, Genaro Pérez from Córdoba, Ferreira Palace from Córdoba, Sívori from CABA, Government Office in CABA, Banco Provincia Museum in CABA, Victoria Ocampo House in CABA, University of New York, Argentine Consulate in New York as well as in Galleries and art spaces. Among the individual exhibitions stand out: Medula, Rosa Mística, Spells and personal mythology, he also participated in national, international and municipal salons. His works are part of institutional collections such as Sindicatura de Gobierno de la Nación, Banco Province, City Bank, Octavio de la Colina Museum, Córdoba Genaro Pérez Municipal Museum, Catamarca Caravatti Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Arts Visuales de Concordia, Central Hall of the Hospital de Clínicas of the city of Buenos Aires, Haggerty Museum of the University of Marquette Milwaukee and Warehouse Museum of the USA; as well as in private collections in Argentina, the United States, Spain and France

Activity in her medium: 2012 Founds Artistas en Cooperativa (cooperative of female visual artists) together with Balbina Lightowler, Noelia Farías, Marisa Domínguez and Paula Otegui. 2015 Conducts and produces from cooperative artists (El verso del arte) Radio program dedicated to the dissemination of Argentine visual artists by AM 770 Radio cooperative. 2015/17/18, representing Artists in a cooperative, Her Mobile Workshop project at the Hospital de Clínicas in the city of Buenos Aires is declared of cultural interest by the Ministry of Culture (Cultural Patronage) 2016 She was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture of the Nation to participate in the courses for entrepreneurs in cultural industries at the University of Tandil. 2015 Espacio Craig opens an art laboratory where he coordinates and teaches. 2018- She teaches the drawing and painting workshop at the Luis Perlotti museum. 2019 He completed a residency in Alto Jagüé, La Rioja to investigate adobe construction techniques for sculptural purposes. 2019 She is summoned by the culture secretary of La Rioja to give conferences within the framework of the MIC (cultural industries market). 2020/21 she was part of the jury of the National Bicentennial Hall, she gave online workshops from Canal (á), an Argentine television channel dedicated to disseminating artistic activity at a national level, she is hired by the Spanish platform Domestika.org to teach painting courses.

CURRENTLY: Florencia has her studio and lives with her family in the city of Buenos Aires, in parallel, together with her partner, Pablo Nievas, she works as a teacher and dancer of Argentine Tango, making international tours and in: Frenesí Porteño, her art space in Buenos Aires.
